Beulah Pickering Bombard, age 90, of Tupper Lake, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at the AMC-Mercy Living Center in Tupper Lake.
Born in Tupper Lake  on February 05, 1928, she was the daughter of William and Nora (Pelkey) Oshier.
Beulah was married to Ronald H. Pickering for 55 years. They were married on June 17, 1944 in Tupper Lake and he predeceased her on March 9, 1999.
Beulah was a lifelong resident of Tupper Lake. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother many times over. She had been employed at the Tupper Lake Dress Factory for several years and was a talented self employed seamstress. Beulah was also very active in the community serving as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and as a Deacon in the United Community Church for 30 years. She served as a 4-H leader, was a member of the Red Hat Society, served on the board of directors for the Tupper Lake Adult Center and as a foster grandparent at L.P. Quinn School for nine years.
She is survived by five children; Karen (David) Marconi of Keller, TX, Dennis (Joni) Pickering of Tupper Lake, Debra (George) Lavigne of Tupper Lake, Penny (Andy) Larche of Perry, FL, and Laurie (Joe) Jessie of Tupper Lake, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great -great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son Ronald Pickering, one infant daughter Billie Jean Pickering, seven sisters Lila, Dora, Hazel, Viola, Eva, Clara, and Dorothy, and one brother William G. Oshier.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A memorial service took place at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 24, 2018 at the United Community Church in Tupper Lake with Rev. Colin Tuggle officiating. Burial will take place in Lake View Cemetery in Tupper Lake in the spring.
