Daniel Barton, 48, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 15 at his home.
Born on July 12, 1967 in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Richard and Joan Oshier Barton.
Dan attended Tupper Lake schools and was married to Amy Burnham on June 14, 1986.
Dan worked at the Tupper Lake Veneer and later various contractors including Larkins, Skip Kenniston and Jeff Denis. He was also a self-employed carpenter.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Amy, sons John of Tupper Lake and Scott Barton of Saranac Lake, daughter Kellyn Barton of Piercefield, grandchildren; Alanah Sutton, Scott Barton Jr. and Logan Barton. Also surviving are brothers; Steve, William, Michael, Jason LeBbeuf, sisters Laurie Plowe, Janice Heelein, Deanna Lamoy and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held Tuesday, June 21 at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
A funeral servicefollowed at the funeral home at noon.
