Laeticia M. Poirier, 96, passed away on January 24, 2017. As per her wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place in the spring at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Tupper Lake.
Laeticia was born on December 30, 1920 in St. Augustine, Canada, the daughter of Paul and Charlotte Poirier.
She married Levi Poirier in Tupper Lake. She was a homemaker and loved watching and feeding the birds and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Jock and companion Roger Demers of Tupper Lake, Lorraine and Dale Pitcher of Potsdam, Barbara Baranoski of New Hope, PA, Nancy and Norman McFaul of Jay, N.Y., Debi and Dale Mitchell of Free Water, OR, Sonny and Gina Poirier of Tupper Lake, Richard Poirier of Tupper Lakeand William Poirier of Potsdam, several grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and a son, Ronald.
