Frederick L. Blair, age 67, of Long Lake, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at home.
Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on November 24, 1951, he was the son of Wilfred and Julia (Cole) Blair. Frederick, married Margaret Arsenault on July 11, 1970 in Holyoke MA. Margaret predeceased him on October 25, 2006.
Fred had been a resident of Long Lake for the past 38 years coming from Holyoke, MA. He had worked in Long Lake as a carpenter for many years. One of Fred’s favorite past times was watching QVC. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling. Later in life he enjoyed traveling with his family to Tennessee and Florida.
He is survived by two daughters- Diana Kintner (Darrell Spencer) of Long Lake, NY and Rebecca Blair (Jason Lebron) of Long Lake, one granddaughter Zoey Lebron of Long Lake, one brother Armand Bourque of Tupper Lake, and one sister Judy Ison of Springfield, MA. He was preceded in death by one daughter Paula Ann Blair and one son-in-law Robert Kintner on December 26, 2013
Calling hours took place at St. Henry’s Parish Hall in Long Lake on Monday April 22, 2019 from 11a.m. - 1p.m.. A prayer service immediately followed at 1p.m. at St. Henry's Parish Hall. Burial will follow at Long Lake Cemetery.
