Daniel Robert Baldwin, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
Dan was born on June 17, 1953 in Tupper Lake and was the son of the late Arthur and Germaine (Parent) Baldwin. Dan was predeceased by his brothers Robert and David.
Dan grew up in Tupper Lake and attended Tupper Lake High School, graduating in 1972.
On December 6, 1975, he married the love of his life, Tina Gonyea. They made their home at 8 Fourth Street in Tupper Lake for 43 years. They have three wonderful children. Janelle (Baldwin) Clark, Jared and his companion Jared Stark, and Adam.
Dan was employed at Sunmount DDSO for 33 years, and retired in 2008. After his retirement, he worked for D.E.C. as a Park Ranger for numerous seasons.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and long rides on his motorcycle with his friends and family. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren teaching them about the things he loved.
He is survived by wife Tina, three children, one granddaughter, Sophie Arsenault, and three grandsons, Chase Arsenault, Hudson Baldwin, and Sawyer Clark; one brother Bryan (Carol) Baldwin of Tupper Lake; four sisters: Jean White of Syracuse, NY, Judy Baldwin of Syracuse, N.Y., Kathy Woods of Norwood N.Y., Debra Martin of Stuart Florida and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life for Dan on Wednesday, July 17 at the VFW in Tupper Lake at 5pm. All are welcome to join us to share their memories of Dan.
