Sandra M. (Rolley) Sovey, 59, of Tupper Lake was granted her angel wings on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. Many were touched by Sandra . Her bright smile and sense of humor was appreciated by all who knew her. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
She loved to go fishing with her best friend, attending church, shopping, gardening traveling and helping others.
Sandra was born on August 11, 1956 in Tupper Lake.
She worked for New York State for over 20 years. She studied at NCCC and received her LPN.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Thomas Sovey, her children Matthew Rolley and partner Ashley Foulds of Norwich N.Y., Narissa McFadden and David McFadden Jr. of Tupper Lake, Paul and Virginia Sovey of Mechanicville N.Y. and David Sovey and Judy of Saratoga N.Y.
She is also survived by her siblings Curtis and Linda Rolley, Roseann McIntyre, Randall and Martha Rolley, Patricia Gregware, Diane Bryan and Joanne Rolley, her grandchildren Ryan Parent, Rikki Martin, Paul Sovey and Claire Sovey, and many nieces and nephews.
She is pre deceased by Her parents Curtis Rolley and Madeline Ward Rolley and her brothers Ward Rolley and Michael Rolley.
There will be no calling hours at her request.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, May 13 at the Stuart- Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, a reception will follow at the Market Place.
