Veronica H. Pinard, 90

Veronica Hebert Pinard, 90, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg surrounded by her loving family.
Veronica was born in Ascot Corner, Quebec.
She married the late Armand Pinard in 1948. They lived in Long Lake for most of their lives before retiring to Cocoa FL.  They were married for 65 years, and they lovingly supported each other in raising a family along with owning and operating a logging contracting business.  
She was a member of St. Henry’s Church in Long Lake where she served as a lay Eucharistic Minister and belonged to the Catholic Daughters.  
Veronica enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, reading, walking and cross-country skiing.  She was devoted to her family and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter Danielle (Stephen) Hamberger of Angola N.Y.; two sons Michael (Michele) Pinard of Brasher Falls and Steven Pinard of Arlington VA; a son-in-law James Culhane of Cocoa FL; a sister Fleurette Cabana; sister-in-law Barbara Hebert; grandchildren Michael Culhane, Eric (JoElle) Hamberger, Catherine Culhane-Metsch and her husband Richard, Chantal Pinard, Sarah Pinard and Thomas Culhane; great-grandchildren Henry, Lucy and Annabelle Metsch and Hayes Hamberger.
She was predeceased by a grandson Matthew Culhane in 1998; a daughter Carmen Culhane in 2011; her husband Armand in 2014, along with her brothers Bruno Hebert and his wife Janine, Gilles Hebert and his wife Jeannine, Laurent Hebert and a brother-in-law Yvon Cabana.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2p.m. at the St. Joseph's Nursing Home Chapel.
