Peter R. Kucipeck, 83

Peter R. Kucipeck, 83, of Tupper Lake passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024, at his home following a long illness, under the care of High Peaks Hospice and surrounded by his loving family. In keeping with his wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral, however, a graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home, Tupper Lake.

Peter was born on January 25th, 1940, in Tupper Lake, NY. He was the son of the late Peter P. and Gladys (LeBlanc) Kucipeck. He was a 1958 graduate of Holy Ghost Academy. On April 28th, 1962, he married Linda M. Liberty at St. Alphonsus Church with Rev. Brault officiating. He spent his career working at Sunmount DDSO, retiring in 1995 as Assistant Personnel Officer after 36 years of service. Peter was known for his great sense of humor. He loved music and played lead guitar in a few local bands over the years. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and any type of brain teaser puzzle, spending time on his computer, and doing small household projects.

He is survived by his wife Linda Kucipeck, his daughters; Christine M. Kucipeck of Burlington, VT, Lisa A. Martin of Latham, NY and Deborah J. Kucipeck of Port Angeles, WA as well has his grandsons; Corey Lopez of Rensselaer, NY and Connor Martin of Latham, NY. He is also survived by his sisters; Carol Lines of Tupper Lake and Jean LaBarge and her husband Frank of Scottsdale, NY, also his brother; James Kucipeck and his wife Betsy of Tupper Lake.
